The service

JPGDrop provides free online file-conversion tools that run in your browser. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue any tool at any time without notice.

Your files, your responsibility

You keep all rights in the files you convert. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to convert and use each file (for example, your own photos, or files you are permitted to edit). Because conversion happens on your device, you are also responsible for keeping your own copies of important files — JPGDrop never holds a copy and cannot recover one for you.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use JPGDrop for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the website's delivery infrastructure. (Studying how your own browser runs the page is fine — it is your device.)
  • Do not misrepresent JPGDrop as your own service.

Accuracy of results

File conversion can involve quality loss (for example, re-encoding between lossy formats) and metadata removal, as described on each tool page. Always check converted files before relying on them for printing, legal, medical or archival purposes, and keep your originals.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JPGDrop and its operator are not liable for any loss of files, profits or data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, where the operator is based.
