Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This policy explains what information JPGDrop does and does not collect when you use jpgdrop.com.

The short version

Your files are never uploaded to us. Conversions happen entirely in your browser, on your device. We do not run accounts, we do not ask for your name or email to use the tools, and there is no server copy of anything you convert.

Files you convert

Files you add to a JPGDrop converter are processed locally in your browser tab using JavaScript libraries loaded with the page. They are never transmitted to JPGDrop or any third party. When you close the tab, the in-browser copies are discarded by your browser. Converted downloads are created on your device and saved by your browser like any other download.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and understand which tools are useful. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors across websites. We see aggregate numbers (for example, page views per day and referring sites), not personal profiles.

Cookies

JPGDrop sets one small preference in your browser's local storage to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice — it is not a tracking cookie. The tools themselves set no cookies. In the future we may show advertising (for example, Google AdSense) to keep the tools free; advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent where required. If advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated first and a consent prompt will be shown where the law requires one.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them only to reply. We do not sell or share email addresses.

Third-party services

The site is delivered through Cloudflare's network, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; those providers may see your IP address as part of serving the page, under their own privacy policies. The conversion libraries run locally after loading and make no further requests with your files.

Children

JPGDrop is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children. Because we collect almost nothing, there is no personal data of any user — child or adult — stored by the tools.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
